Only the Limited Edition includes pieces of John Wick suits used in film production, presented as a franchise artifact courtesy of Lionsgate. Stern calls its player-responsive lighting feature an “AI combat” system; its description is specific to enemy lights reacting to player behavior, not a claim of generative AI or machine learning.
Which John Wick pinball machine has pieces of John’s suit?
The suit material is a feature of the Limited Edition (LE), not all three versions. Stern’s 2024 feature matrix identifies the suit pieces as a franchise artifact and credits Lionsgate. The matrix also distinguishes the editions by playfield, cabinet, lighting, and other features, so buyers should compare those inclusions rather than assume the games are identical. Stern’s John Wick feature matrix provides the edition-by-edition details.
What does Stern mean by “AI combat”?
Stern describes a dynamic combat system in which software responds to player behavior by controlling enemy lights around the playfield. Its May 7, 2024 announcement contrasts this with earlier pinball lighting controlled by player actions, timers, and random-number generation, and says an action video player reflects what the player does. That is the manufacturer’s description of a responsive game system; the announcement does not establish that the machine uses generative AI or machine learning. Stern’s launch announcement explains the feature.
How do the Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition versions differ?
Stern offers three editions. The main buyer-relevant distinctions include playfield mechanics, cabinet and backglass treatment, lighting and audio features, and the LE’s suit-piece artifact. Use the manufacturer’s matrix to verify which features are included with each edition; the suit artifact is specifically identified with LE.

Stern’s launch announcement describes gameplay inspired by the films, including the New York Continental, Red Circle Club, car-chase and drifting elements, a weapons crate, and the Blood Oath Marker. It also lists custom Winston narration by Ian McShane, an original score composed by Charlie Benante, and original artwork illustrated by Randy Martinez. These are Stern’s product descriptions, not independent hands-on findings.
