Spoilers for the Demon Slayer manga ending: Yes. At the end of the manga, Yushiro is generally described as the only surviving humanoid demon after Muzan’s defeat. His survival is unusual because Tamayo turned him into a demon herself.
Why is Yushiro still a demon?
Tamayo saved Yushiro’s life by transforming him. SEGA’s official Yushiro character page describes him as “a young man whose life Tamayo saved by turning him into a demon—her only successful attempt thus far in her research.” That wording explains why his origin differs from demons created through Muzan.
What does “the only demon left” mean?
The claim refers to the manga’s ending and to Yushiro as the sole surviving humanoid demon. It should not be stretched into a claim about every possible demon-like creature. The account of Yushiro as the lone survivor is reported by Popverse’s ending explainer; SEGA’s character profile supports his origin, not the ending-survivor claim.
Is the anime ending the same?
The answer above is about the manga. VIZ identifies Volume 23 as the manga’s final volume, but that does not mean the anime has already adapted the full manga conclusion. The manga and the anime’s adaptation status are separate questions.

Where can you read the manga ending?
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Vol. 23 is the final manga volume. VIZ lists paperback and digital formats; availability depends on location and retailer. It contains the manga’s conclusion, rather than focusing only on Yushiro. The official Shonen Jump series page also provides the series’ manga and volume context.
