January 2023: They confirm they are dating
After years of friendship, Pippen and Jordan confirmed their relationship in January 2023. The Los Angeles Times dates the confirmation to that month; Complex describes Instagram posts around January 23, followed by Jordan referring to Pippen as his girlfriend.
2023: Their relationship becomes part of their public work
The couple appeared together in coverage of The Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 and competed on Season 2 of The Traitors. They also co-hosted the podcast Separation Anxiety with Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan. At BravoCon in November 2023, Pippen discussed wanting to take the next step in the relationship. February 2024: A reported pause, then a clarification
February 12: A statement says they are taking time apart
On February 12, the Los Angeles Times reported that a statement shared with the newspaper said the couple had “decided to take some time apart to reevaluate their relationship.” It added: “This has nothing to do with any family input, but solely for their personal growth.” The report did not identify an individual as the statement’s author, so these words should be attributed to the statement, not to Pippen or Jordan personally. The Times report captured the initial description of the break.
February 20–23: Pippen says they were working on the relationship
Pippen later said they had not broken up on February 12: they had spent time apart and wanted to work on the relationship. She also said she regretted deleting their photos. The distinction matters: the first report described a pause to reevaluate, while Pippen’s later account characterized that period as an effort to work things out. Bravo reported her clarification.

Were they engaged?
No. Pippen said she was not engaged, and explained that the ring she wore came from her Larsa Marie collection. The ring was not confirmation of an engagement. Bravo’s February coverage reports her explanation.
March 2024: They separate
After reconciling following the February pause, Pippen and Jordan broke up in March 2024, according to Bravo’s October retrospective. On March 26, Pippen discussed the split on the Amy and T.J. podcast. She said being alone gave her clarity and explained: “I think when you’re alone, you kind of either miss the person or realize maybe you’re not my guy.” She also said, “I don’t think he’s my guy.” Bravo’s retrospective reports the March separation, and Bravo’s coverage of her podcast comments gives her explanation.
What reason did Pippen give?
Pippen said they were on different journeys. She said their 16-year age difference was not the reason, explaining: “I don’t think it’s the age – it’s just where we are right now.” This was her account of the breakup, not a jointly verified explanation from both former partners. Bravo reported her comments.
