Knight later said nobody spoke to him about the incident.
What happened on Raw?
On the October 27, 2025 episode, Knight reportedly took a fan’s sign during his entrance and held it up. Its message favored Knight over Jey Uso: “We want LA Knight, not Jey Uso.” A November 4 report said Knight did not appear on Raw the following week, November 3, and noted that CM Punk did not mention him during the opening promo. Yardbarker’s November 4 report republished Sportster coverage of the episode and the speculation that followed.
The sequence is what gave rise to the theory: sign on one Monday, absence the next. That timing alone does not show a connection. The report did not confirm disciplinary action or establish why Knight was absent.
What did LA Knight say about the speculation?
In comments from an interview reported by CBS Sports in April 2026, Knight said nobody had raised the sign with him. “No, nothing whatsoever,” he said. “If there was, I surely was not aware of it. Nobody said a word or anything.” He also described the speculation as humorous. These are Knight’s account of what he knew; they are not an official WWE explanation for his absence. CBS Sports’ report carries his comments.

Is this a current absence?
No. The story concerns the November 3, 2025 Raw, not a recent episode. WWE’s official results show Knight appearing on Raw on October 5, 2026, where he faced off with Roman Reigns. WWE’s October 5 results document the appearance.
WWE had also listed Knight for a World Heavyweight Championship match against Reigns at Money in the Bank on October 10, 2026, in a preview published September 15. That match was scheduled as of the preview; the listing does not establish its eventual outcome. WWE’s match preview gives the event details.
