Legend of the White Dragon was scheduled to open in theaters on August 28, 2026. That date has passed: Well Go USA now lists the film as “Now Available on Digital.” The official sources confirm the release date but do not explain why it was described as “the perfect date.”
What was the new release date?
The film’s theatrical release date was August 28, 2026. The official film-site update announced the date on March 28, 2026, and both the official ticket page and Well Go USA’s film listing give August 28 as the theatrical date. The announcement said Well Go USA had acquired North American rights and described the movie as Jason David Frank’s final film performance.
Why was August 28 called “the perfect date”?
The phrase appears in the release-date headline, but the official pages reviewed do not explain it or identify a calendar coincidence. They establish the date, not why it was chosen. There is no basis in those sources to attribute it to an anniversary, numerology, or another special occasion.
Where can you watch the film now?
As of October 8, 2026, Well Go USA’s page says “Now Available on Digital.” It does not specify a particular digital retailer or storefront, so check the service you use for current availability in your region.
