Jamie Durie’s new series is Jamie Durie’s Future House, a Nine program following Durie, his partner Ameka and their children Beau and Nash as they attempt to build a 3D-printed concrete home. Nine announced the first season for 25 November 2025; the network has since announced a second season for 2026, but has not given a premiere date.
What is Jamie Durie’s new TV show?
Jamie Durie’s Future House is a home-building series in which families try out modern construction approaches. Nine described the first season as following three families building three homes in three months, with different methods and budget levels. The series website presents speed, sustainability, resilience, affordability and style as goals for the homes—not as independently verified results. Nine’s announcement and the official series website introduce the project.
How does Durie’s family feature?
Durie’s own build is part of the series. He appears with his partner Ameka and their young children, Beau and Nash, as they attempt to construct a home using 3D-printed concrete. Nine framed the show around ideas for building faster, more sustainably and at lower cost in response to Australia’s housing crisis. Those are the program’s aims; the announcements do not establish that the method delivers those outcomes for every household or site.
In Nine’s promotional announcement, Durie described the project as “more than just a TV show, it’s a mission,” and called the family’s build a “huge risk.” His comments reflect his stated ambitions for the series, rather than independent evidence about the technology or its performance.
