What was the anniversary show announced to include?
The tour was promoted as a performance of Back to Bedlam in full, followed by greatest hits and fan favourites. PerthNow’s January 2025 announcement gave the same outline. PerthNow
In a 29 January 2025 announcement, Ticketmaster NZ attributed this statement to Blunt: “New Zealand and Australia… I’m coming to get you! Following last year’s incredible tour of Oz, I knew I had to bring my Back To Bedlam 20th Anniversary Tour to you guys Down Under, and this time we’re sneaking in New Zealand, and I can’t wait to see all of you! I promise to deliver an unforgettable show!” Ticketmaster NZ The remark was promotional copy, rather than independent reporting on the shows.

Why Back to Bedlam was being celebrated
Released in October 2004, Back to Bedlam was the album at the centre of the anniversary tour. AucklandNZ’s event listing says it reached number one on the ARIA album charts and was included among the ARIA Top 100 Albums of the 2000s. The same listing reports that it was certified 8× Platinum in Australia, that UK sales exceeded 2.4 million in 2005, and that worldwide sales surpassed 12 million. These are figures reported by AucklandNZ, whose listing was updated in 2026; they are not independently verified here. AucklandNZ’s event listing
