LEGO’s Mario Kart – Mario & Standard Kart (set 72037) turns Mario and his Standard Kart into a large build-and-display model: it has 1,972 pieces, measures 19 cm wide, 32 cm long and 22 cm high, and includes a stand for angled display. It is a physical LEGO set, not an electronic Mario Kart game or a playable digital experience.
What is LEGO Mario Kart set 72037?
Officially named Mario Kart – Mario & Standard Kart, set 72037 is an 18+ LEGO Super Mario model announced by The LEGO Group on March 10, 2025. Mario sits in the Standard Kart, with movable head and arms; the included stand supports display poses that angle the kart as if it were racing or drifting. Those pose and display features are LEGO’s description, not a claim about a powered or playable model. LEGO’s announcement describes the set and its intended display use.
How large is the set, and how many pieces does it have?
The set contains 1,972 pieces. LEGO gives the finished model’s dimensions as 19 cm wide × 32 cm long × 22 cm high. The width, length and height are stated in LEGO’s order; allow room for the kart’s length as well as its height when planning a shelf or display case. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements.
What does the display stand and movable figure do?
Mario’s head and arms can be repositioned, and the stand lets the kart sit at an angle rather than only level on a surface. That makes the model more suited to a dynamic display pose. The announcement does not describe electronic functions, game compatibility or a play feature beyond posing the brick-built figure and kart.
