Her former husband, Donald Trump, attended with Melania and Barron Trump; their children Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric were there with family, as was Tiffany Trump. The service was closed to the public, though people gathered outside the church.
Where was Ivana Trump’s funeral, and who attended?
The Mass took place at St. Vincent Ferrer Roman Catholic Church, a few blocks from Ivana Trump’s home near Central Park. The Associated Press reported that a gold-toned casket was carried from the church as family members stood together. Friends and other relatives also attended, including family friend and Fox News host Jeanine Pirro, developer Charles Kushner and designer Dennis Basso. The Associated Press’s account of the funeral described the gathering.
Was the funeral open to the public?
No. CBS News reported that the church service was closed to the public, while people gathered outside. The distinction matters: the gathering outside did not make the funeral Mass a public service. CBS News reported on the service and those outside the church.
What was said at the service?
Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump spoke, according to The Real Deal. Its report said Ivanka recalled family trips and lessons from her mother in spear fishing and cooking their catch, while Donald Jr. remembered Ivana as someone who challenged gender norms.

Ivana and Donald Trump married in 1977 and divorced in 1992. The Associated Press reported that she worked in his business operations, including managing an Atlantic City casino and selecting design elements for Trump Tower. They later had a friendly relationship; the AP reported that she supported his 2016 campaign and said they spoke regularly. This context helps explain why the funeral brought together their adult children and members of the wider family, without reducing Ivana’s role to her former marriage.
