Love Is Blind season-six contestant Chelsea Blackwell faced backlash after telling pod date Jimmy Presnell that people had compared her to Megan Fox. Chelsea later said she regretted bringing it up, explained that Jimmy had reportedly mentioned his own celebrity comparison moments earlier, and apologized to Fox for involving her in the controversy.
Why Chelsea Blackwell was getting dragged
During the pod phase of Love Is Blind season six, Chelsea told Jimmy Presnell that people had said she resembled actor Megan Fox. The two were dating without seeing each other. After the conversation aired, viewers joked about and criticized the comparison; the resemblance itself is subjective, not an established fact. E! News reported on the backlash.
What Chelsea said about the conversation’s context
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Chelsea said the aired conversation left out what she described as the preceding remark: Jimmy had said he looked like NFL player Christian McCaffrey. That detail is Chelsea’s account of the exchange, not an independently verified account of the edit.
How Chelsea responded to the criticism
Speaking to E! News, Chelsea said she had not expected Jimmy to react so strongly. “I do feel bad. Everyone’s like ‘You catfished him!’ Man, I didn’t mean to,” she said. She also said, “I do regret having that conversation with him. Why’d we have to do that?”

She addressed the reaction on Instagram with the line, “Go on a show to find love > get your ass dragged.” E! News also reported that she posted, “Truly humbled by the internet.”
