The first was the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D (10356), released in 2025; the second, an original-series U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Bridge (11385), arrived on September 1, 2026. They offer different builds: a large exterior starship and a display model centered on the bridge and transporter room.
When was the LEGO Star Trek collaboration announced?
The collaboration was first announced on Star Trek Day, September 8, 2025, through a short teaser posted by the official Star Trek and LEGO social accounts, according to an IMDb news index reproducing an excerpt attributed to Collider. The original social posts were not available in the cited material, so that initial-announcement detail is secondary-reported. LEGO later confirmed the licensed partnership with Paramount Products & Experiences through official product announcements.

LEGO announced set 10356 on November 6, 2025. Its official product page lists 3,600 pieces, nine minifigures and an 18+ age recommendation.
LEGO announced set 11385 on July 22, 2026, with a September 1, 2026 release date. The company describes it as a 1,701-piece, 18+ set; its press release lists eight crew figures and four tribbles.

How do the two Enterprise sets differ?
10356: a large ship exterior
The NCC-1701-D is the choice for builders who want the recognizable The Next Generation ship as a standalone display model. Its detachable saucer and separate ship components emphasize the vessel’s overall shape, while the opening shuttlebay and shuttlepods add smaller features to the exterior build.
11385: a scene from the original series
The NCC-1701 Bridge set represents an interior rather than a complete starship. Its modular sections depict the original-series bridge and transporter room, with crew minifigures and tribbles as scene details. It is a different kind of display piece, not a smaller version of the NCC-1701-D.

Piece count alone does not establish which set is better value or more difficult to build. Compare the subject, the space available for display, the included figures and accessories, and the price and stock in your location.
