¿Qué es la Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap de SKIMS?
Es una faja facial que se coloca alrededor de la cabeza y se ajusta con cierres de velcro. Según la cobertura de People en Español, tiene aberturas para las orejas y el cabello, y cubre la zona de la mandíbula y el cuello.
La marca la describió como su “primera innovación facial” y destacó una tela de compresión característica y “hilos de colágeno” para dar soporte suave a la mandíbula. Son descripciones de marketing; por sí solas no prueban beneficios duraderos para la piel ni un cambio en la forma del rostro.
¿Para qué sirve y qué promete?
La prenda está diseñada para ajustarse a la parte inferior del rostro y ofrecer compresión temporal. SKIMS la promocionó con una intención escultora y de soporte, pero no hay evidencia citada de que usarla reduzca permanentemente la papada o afine la mandíbula.
