Kai Beckstrand won Season 17 of American Ninja Warrior, but Noah Meunier pushed him in the final race. The two stayed close through the obstacles before Beckstrand reached the buzzer first, according to the show’s official clip description.
Who was Kai Beckstrand’s final opponent?
It was Noah Meunier—not Beckstrand’s brother Luke. NBC’s official American Ninja Warrior clip identifies Meunier as the competitor in the final race. The clip was published on August 28, 2025, and describes the pair as “in lockstep through every obstacle” before Beckstrand pulled ahead and hit the buzzer first. Watch NBC’s official champion clip.
How close was the final race?
NBC’s description establishes that the race stayed close through the obstacles and that Beckstrand won by reaching the buzzer before Meunier. It does not give a time, a numerical margin, or obstacle-by-obstacle splits, so the exact gap between them is not established by that account.
What is reported about Beckstrand’s win?
Yahoo Sports reported in August 2025 that Beckstrand was 19 and that the Season 17 prize was $250,000. Those details come from secondary reporting; NBC’s clip description confirms the finish but does not state his age or the prize amount.

Where can you watch the season?
