It described public gestures and shared moments as signs of a shift in the couple’s visible dynamic after a difficult period. Royal historian Amanda Foreman offered the interpretation: “They seem more loved-up than ever.”

That wording belongs to Foreman’s assessment of what she sees publicly. It is not a measured finding or a confirmed statement from the couple about their relationship.
Which public moments were cited?
The feature pointed to gentle touches, shared smiles and hands at each other’s backs. It also described a hand kiss and a hand at Kate’s back during the couple’s appearance at the Royal Variety Performance on November 19, 2025.

These are observations from public appearances. They can illustrate how the couple presented themselves at those events, but they cannot establish how they feel in private or prove that they are “more connected than ever.”

- It is a dated interpretation: The claim reflects a PEOPLE feature published on December 18, 2025, rather than an ongoing or independent assessment.
- It relies on visible behavior: Gestures and expressions at public events are the examples offered, not direct evidence of a private relationship.
- It is qualitative: The report supplies no statistic or other primary evidence that could verify a change in the couple’s relationship.
Foreman also said, “What they have been through over the last few years has been so terrible.” That is her characterization of their circumstances; it does not independently establish the state of their relationship.
