Justin Bieber’s seventh studio album, SWAG, was surprise-released on July 11, 2025. It followed Justice (2021), and its 21 tracks brought together a wide group of vocal and production collaborators.
When did Justin Bieber release SWAG?
SWAG arrived on July 11, 2025, via Def Jam Recordings. Universal Music Japan lists its release time as 13:00 Japan time. The surprise rollout included billboards displaying the album artwork and tracklist in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Reykjavik, as well as social posts; the full album then appeared on streaming services. Universal Music Japan and Universal Music Canada describe it as Bieber’s first album in four years after Justice. The albums’ July 2021 and July 2025 release dates span four years.

Who worked on SWAG, and what does it sound like?
Universal Music Canada names Justin Bieber, Carter Lang, Dylan Wiggins, Daniel Caesar, Dijon, mk.gee, Daniel Chetrit, Eddie Benjamin and Knox Fortune among the production collaborators. The label also identifies contributions from Dijon, Eddie Benjamin, Lil B, Gunna, Sexyy Red, Cash Cobain, mk.gee and comedian Druski.
Apple Music’s editorial description emphasizes organic textures, reverb-heavy production, dreamy vocals, acoustic demos and alt-rap experiments. That is the service’s characterization of the album, rather than a genre label attributed to Bieber. Def Jam Recordings described the project as shaped by Bieber’s devotion as a husband and father, saying it led to “a deeper perspective and more reflective sound” and some of his most personal music yet. The statement is attributed to the label, not to a named individual. Associated Press reported the statement.

Where can you listen to or buy SWAG?
The album is listed on streaming services, including Apple Music. For a physical copy, the official Def Jam Shop listing documents a two-LP black vinyl edition, and its CD listing describes a standard jewel-case edition. The vinyl listing gives November 14, 2025 as its availability date. The CD page labels its displayed December 12, 2025 date as a placeholder, so it should not be treated as a confirmed shipping date. Check the shop for current stock and availability.
