How the show fits into Jurassic World
Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is an animated science-fiction adventure series and a direct sequel to Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. It follows the older group known as the Nublar Six. The trailer’s “end of an era” framing applies to Chaos Theory—it does not mean the wider Jurassic World franchise has ended. Series background.
The teaser announced the date earlier
Jurassic World Kids published the Season 4 teaser on September 18, 2025. Its description looked back to the camp’s five-year anniversary and said, “On November 20, the final adventure begins.” The teaser and later trailer therefore pointed to the same Netflix premiere date, with the October trailer explicitly presenting the season as the conclusion.
