LEGO’s June 2024 releases included The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr (10333), Star Wars battle packs inspired by The Mandalorian season three, and sets from Minecraft, Disney, LEGO Ideas, and Architecture. Barad-dûr was the month’s headline build: a 5,471-piece, 10-minifigure tower with a moving, illuminated Eye of Sauron.
What LEGO sets came out in June 2024?
James Whitbrook’s May 31, 2024, Gizmodo roundup previewed releases across several LEGO themes. Its overview mentions Star Wars battle packs inspired by The Mandalorian season three; Minecraft and Disney releases, including a buildable Simba; LEGO Ideas Tuxedo Cat; and LEGO Architecture Notre-Dame de Paris. The roundup’s headline was LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr. Read the Gizmodo roundup for its full slideshow and item-by-item coverage; this overview is not an official LEGO master list.
Why Barad-dûr was the standout
Set 10333 recreates Sauron’s fortress as a large display model with play features built into its structure. LEGO’s May 14, 2024 announcement lists 5,471 pieces and 10 minifigures, including Sauron, the Mouth of Sauron, an Orc, Frodo, Sam, Gollum, and Gothmog. LEGO’s launch announcement describes a four-section modular build, a throne-room compartment that opens to reveal a map, a movable ladder, and a rotating Eye of Sauron with a light brick.
The current LEGO product page identifies the set as more than 83 cm tall and describes an opening gate and an illuminated Eye that moves in multiple directions. LEGO’s original announcement gave dimensions of 32 in. (83 cm) high, 11 in. (30 cm) wide, and 17 in. (45 cm) long. Those measurements are useful to check against available display space before buying. See the LEGO product page for 10333 for its current product details.

Which June release might suit you?
For a large, franchise-focused display build, Barad-dûr is the clearest fit in the available details: its scale, minifigure selection, and moving features are specified by LEGO. The other themes in the roundup offer a broader choice, but the available coverage does not establish comparable piece counts, dimensions, prices, or current stock for each item.
