Matt Robertson said in an interview with Netflix Tudum published April 18, 2023, that he and Khani Le were still together. Their relationship status as of October 8, 2026, is not verified by a recent primary source, so that 2023 confirmation should not be presented as a current update.
What Matt and Khani said about their relationship
Asked whether he and Khani were still together, Matt answered, “Yes, we’re still together.” He also said they had a family with their French bulldog, Banks. The quote appears in Netflix Tudum’s interview published April 18, 2023; it confirms their status at that time, not in October 2026.
How their third date became a longer stay
Khani Le and Matt Robertson met on Hinge and had been on two dates before choosing Costa Rica for a third date in March 2020. Pandemic-related travel disruption turned the trip into an extended stay. They lived together in a short-term rental while waiting for a way to return, and Matt recorded footage that became part of Netflix’s documentary, Longest Third Date.
In Netflix Tudum’s 2023 account, they left Costa Rica on a government-issued flight to Houston in June 2020. Concerned about flying again, they rented a car and drove to Maine and then Seattle to visit family and friends while working remotely. They returned to New York City in September 2020. In the same interview, they said they were taking things slowly and enjoying life together.
