Kendrick Lamar and SZA announced the Grand National Tour on December 3, 2024. The first North American itinerary named 19 stadiums and listed 21 concert dates; later additions brought the North American schedule to 23 dates. That run was scheduled from April 19 to June 18, 2025, and is now in the past.
What the December 2024 announcement said
The venue-hosted announcement described a North American stadium tour presented by Live Nation, pgLang and Top Dawg Entertainment. Its headline figure—19 stadiums—referred to venues, not concerts. The itinerary listed 21 shows because East Rutherford and Inglewood each had two dates in the original schedule. Lumen Field’s December 3, 2024 announcement set out the initial route.
The announcement came as Lamar’s album GNX had recently been released. SZA appeared on “Luther” and “Gloria,” a point noted in the Associated Press report. That context helps explain the two artists’ collaboration, but the tour announcement did not describe the run as an album tour.
Original North American itinerary
The original schedule ran from Minneapolis to Washington, D.C. The table separates the 19 named stadium markets from the 21 announced performances.

How the schedule grew from 21 to 23 North American dates
Ticketmaster’s retrospective, published June 24, 2025, counts 23 North American dates. The two additional performances were May 24 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood and June 13 at Rogers Centre in Toronto. Those additions raised the show count without creating two new stadiums: both were at venues already on the original itinerary. Ticketmaster’s tour retrospective records the expanded schedule.

- 19 stadiums: the venue count in the December 2024 announcement.
- 21 shows: the original itinerary, including two performances each at MetLife Stadium and SoFi Stadium.
- 23 dates: the later North American total after an additional Inglewood show and an additional Toronto show.
The later European and UK leg
The North American itinerary was not the tour’s entire international route. In a February 10, 2025 notice, Live Nation España said the European and United Kingdom leg would visit 13 stadiums. It identified July 30 at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona as the tour’s only Spain date. See the Live Nation España notice for that leg. The 23-date North American count should not be read as a count of every show on the international itinerary.
