Where to see the official wedding photos
The British Monarchy’s Flickr record, “The Official Royal Wedding photographs,” identifies a photograph made on 29 April 2011 in the Throne Room at Buckingham Palace. It credits Hugo Burnand and describes the bride and groom with their attendants.
The caption names the attendants as Margarita Armstrong-Jones, Eliza Lopes, Grace van Cutsem, Lady Louise Windsor, Tom Pettifer, and William Lowther-Pinkerton. This is a specific formal group portrait, rather than a photograph of the Abbey ceremony or the procession through London.
Who photographed the official portraits?
The Royal Family announced on 19 April 2011 that Hugo Burnand had been selected as the official photographer. It said he would take the official photographs at Buckingham Palace after the wedding service at Westminster Abbey. The Royal Family’s announcement describes Burnand as a portrait photographer and notes that he had previously photographed Prince William privately and served as official photographer for the 2005 wedding of the then Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.
