Was this really her first NYFW in 16 years?
There is no single agreed interval in the coverage. AOL’s InStyle republication uses the “first NYFW in 16 years” framing, but Vogue says Collins had not attended NYFW since 2019. Marie Claire specifies a different measure: absence from NYFW’s official front rows since 2009. It also notes a 2019 Cartier-sponsored party and a 2022 Ralph Lauren show in Los Angeles. Those distinctions matter: a front-row hiatus is not the same as having made no fashion-related appearances, and the 2022 show was outside New York.
