At the first dinner party of Married at First Sight Australia 2024, Natalie said she wanted to go home after an argument with Collins, and the recap reports that both left the experiment. Meanwhile, messages about Jack’s former relationship circulated among the participants. PerthNow reported Jack’s response, but its recap does not independently verify the former girlfriend’s claims.
Why Natalie and Collins left the experiment
PerthNow’s 5 February 2024 recap says Natalie and Collins argued in a hallway before the group could discuss the messages about Jack. Collins criticised Natalie’s reaction to their honeymoon, saying: “You were kinda sour… sitting on the couch. Then you kinda just badmouthed our honeymoon.”

The recap reports that Natalie cried, said she wanted to go home and told the group she was leaving. Collins also had to leave the experiment. It does not give further detail about the circumstances of their departures.
What the messages alleged about Jack
According to PerthNow, messages began circulating among the participants alleging that Jack had told a former girlfriend he needed to move overseas, but went on Married at First Sight instead. The episode recap describes messages and Jack’s response; it does not establish the allegation as independently verified.

Jack described the relationship as “a very casual, respectful relationship” and later called it “casual, exclusive.” The recap says he claimed he had tried to end it seven weeks earlier. It also attributes this response to him: “This girl just wants three seconds of fame.”
Jack further said: “Basically the nuts and bolts of it are I entered a very casual, respectful relationship early on in the year.” He added: “It wasn’t serious, it was never long-term for me. And it’s a shame it’s gone like this. People are gonna question my intention and character.” These are Jack’s descriptions as reported by PerthNow, not an independently established account of the former relationship.

Her perspective and the full context of the messages therefore remain unverified in this recap.
