What is Lust Is Sweeter the Second Time Around about?
GoodNovel’s synopsis introduces Jonie, an executive secretary supporting her mother, who has cancer, and Kenneth Enriquez, her wealthy employer. Facing the cost of treatment, Jonie accepts a proposal in which Kenneth offers ten million in exchange for her virginity and for her to live with him for three months. The synopsis then describes Kenneth slapping her during a jealous episode. Jonie says she will leave and refuses to stay with a man who hits women; Kenneth asks her to remain, says she can keep the money for her mother, and promises that nothing will happen between them during the three months. The setup is framed around whether Jonie can resist his attraction and charisma.

That premise includes financial pressure, a sexual bargain, and physical violence. These are coercive and violent story elements, not simply a conventional courtship. GoodNovel’s page tags the story as Secretary, CEO, Drama, Office Relationship, Adventurous, Forbidden Love, and Comedy. Read the official GoodNovel listing.
Where can you read it, and is it complete?
The story is hosted on GoodNovel, which provides a web book listing and an app-reading prompt. The listing’s chapter feed showed chapter 1697 with an update date of August 31, 2026. That is a dated platform snapshot, not a guarantee that the feed has not changed since then. More importantly, the listing does not directly state that the story is complete. A reader comment asks, “Completed po ba ito???”—an individual question, not an official completion notice. Check GoodNovel’s current book page for the latest displayed chapters and any status information.

What else does the available chapter sample show?
The chapter 1019 page is a partial excerpt rather than a full-series synopsis. It follows Finn five months later: he is recovering in Baguio, jogging at Burnham Park, working at a PMA office, and reflecting on his relationship with Lilly. The page labels its last update September 10, 2025. This glimpse establishes that the book includes Finn and Lilly, but it is not enough to summarize their full role or the wider plot. Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What should readers know before starting?
- Format: It is a serialized GoodNovel story; no print or alternate edition is established by the cited listing.
- Content: The official synopsis includes a financially pressured sexual arrangement and a slap, so readers sensitive to coercion or partner violence should take those elements into account.
- Completion: The available listing snapshot does not establish a completed status; check the live page before beginning if you want a confirmed finished story.
GoodNovel displays ratings and reader comments, but these are platform and user signals rather than independently audited measures of readership. An App Store review also names the title and says the reviewer was excited to read the next chapter; that is one reviewer’s comment, not a representative measure of reader opinion.
