No. Saturday Night Live was not new on Saturday, October 25, 2025, and there was no host or musical guest that night. The show was taking a week off after its October 18 episode, when Sabrina Carpenter hosted and performed. The next new episode was scheduled for November 1, with Miles Teller hosting and Brandi Carlile as musical guest.
Why there was no new SNL on October 25
The October 25 date fell between episodes. Peacock’s Season 51 schedule lists the October 18 episode with Sabrina Carpenter, then the next episode on November 1; it does not list a broadcast for October 25. Peacock’s season schedule shows the lineup.

Parade and American Songwriter also reported on October 25 that the show was off that week. Parade’s October 25 schedule report and American Songwriter’s report both identified November 1 as the return date.
Who was scheduled for the next episode?
The November 1, 2025 episode was scheduled to have Miles Teller as host and Brandi Carlile as musical guest. NBCUniversal announced the pairing on October 17; Teller was set to host for the second time, and Carlile to return as musical guest. NBCUniversal’s announcement also listed later November episodes, but the November 1 pairing is the next scheduled lineup relevant to October 25.
Where to watch SNL
Peacock’s Season 51 guide says the show airs live on NBC and Peacock at 11:30 p.m. ET on Saturdays, with episodes streaming on Peacock the following day. NBCUniversal’s announcement likewise describes a live NBC broadcast and live streaming on Peacock. These are general viewing details; they do not indicate that a new episode aired on October 25.
