The Washington Post described photographs showing leather seating with Jenner’s initials and a pink neon “Kylie” sign. These details support a customized interior, but do not establish that the aircraft’s exterior is entirely pink. The Washington Post’s July 21, 2022 account attributes the interior details to photos.
What does the $72 million figure mean?
The commonly repeated $72 million figure is Private Jet Clubs’ estimate, not a verified sale price. Other published numbers refer to different claims and should not be treated as interchangeable:

In July 2022, Jenner shared an Instagram photo of two private jets. The Washington Post reported that the image showed one aircraft for Jenner and another apparently for Travis Scott. What do the emissions figures say—and what don’t they say?
The Washington Post relayed figures from Transport & Environment, quoting a report that a single private jet can emit two tons of carbon dioxide in one flight hour and describing private jets as between five and 14 times more polluting than commercial planes and 50 times more harmful to the environment than trains. The Post said the report had been shared the prior year. These are report-level claims as relayed by the newspaper—not measurements of Jenner’s aircraft, a particular flight or the two jets in her post. The underlying report and its methodology are not established by the cited coverage, so the figures should not be read as a verified emissions calculation for “Sky Ky.” The Washington Post is the source for the quoted estimates.
