Guinness World Records lists Cenat at 1,095,265 Twitch subscribers on 30 September 2025, the final day of Mafiathon 3. His personal earnings from the event, however, have not been verified in the sources available: a subscriber count is not a payout statement.
Which Twitch record does “over 728K” refer to?
The 728K framing points to Mafiathon 2 in December 2024. Teen Vogue describes Cenat as surpassing 700,000 active subscribers then, but its report does not establish the exact 728,535 figure. The distinction matters because Mafiathon 3 later set a substantially higher record.
How many subscribers did Kai Cenat reach in Mafiathon 3?
Mafiathon 3 began on 1 September 2025 and was scheduled to run through 30 September. Teen Vogue reported that Cenat passed one million active subscribers on 28 September. Guinness World Records records the final total as 1,095,265 subscribers, achieved on 30 September 2025, the event’s last day. Guinness notes that records may change and are not necessarily published online immediately.
The event was a 30-day, round-the-clock subathon. Streams Charts reported 82.5 million hours watched. For the final broadcast, TwitchTracker listed a peak of 1,005,331 concurrent viewers; that is a third-party tracker estimate, not a figure published by Twitch.

How much did Cenat earn from the subathon?
No verified personal earnings total is established by these sources. They document subscriber and audience milestones, but do not provide a complete gross payout or Cenat’s net income from Mafiathon 3. Treating the record subscriber count as money earned would be misleading.
A subscriber total alone does not reveal how many subscriptions were gifted or paid at different tiers, what revenue share applied to each, or how much advertising and sponsorship income, donations, expenses and taxes affected the final amount. Without those details and a disclosed payout, any earnings figure would be an estimate based on assumptions, not a confirmed total.

What did the event say about a school in Nigeria?
Cenat’s stated goals included reaching one million active subscribers and raising funds to build a new school in Nigeria, according to Teen Vogue. The TwitchTracker listing for the final stream included the title “15% OF REVENUE GOING TO SCHOOL IN NIGERIA.” That establishes what the stream advertised, but the listing does not define which revenue the 15% referred to or confirm the final amount donated.
