Good Morning America reported that the pair made their red-carpet debut as a couple at the Song Sung Blue premiere on October 26, 2025. That public appearance confirms how they were presented in that coverage; it does not confirm an engagement or marriage plan.
What happened with Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness?
Jackman and Furness announced their separation in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage. Their joint statement said their family was their priority and that they had decided to separate to pursue individual growth. The Associated Press reproduced this sentence from their statement: “We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
The 2023 announcement established a separation, not a divorce date. PerthNow later reported that Jackman’s divorce was finalized in June 2025; that timing is a secondary report, rather than a date established here by a court record.
