In March 2025, her mother, Linda Hogan, said publicly that Brooke was not speaking to her and attributed the rupture to a fight with Hulk. Brooke responded that the reasons she had gone no contact with each parent were different: “I have completely separate reasons for going no contact with each of my parents.” She said her choices reflected how each had treated her throughout her life.

How the relationship was presented publicly
Brooke and Hulk appeared with Linda and Brooke’s brother Nick on VH1’s Hogan Knows Best, which ran for four seasons from 2005 to 2007, according to Us Weekly. The show portrayed a family relationship that could be playful and stressful. In an Associated Press interview around the show’s launch, Hulk described the family as “a united front here.” The AP interview, republished in a 2025 retrospective, captures the family’s public presentation at the time—not proof that there was no private conflict.
Us Weekly reports that Hulk and Linda separated in 2007 and finalized their divorce in 2009. An anonymous source quoted by the outlet suggested the divorce may have contributed to later tensions. That is the source’s interpretation; Brooke did not identify it as the explanation for her estrangement in the cited statements.

What Brooke said after Hulk Hogan died
Hulk Hogan died at 71 on July 24, 2025, according to Global News. Brooke’s tribute after his death expressed love and recalled their family connection. She wrote, “We had a connection deeper than words, one that spanned lifetimes,” and, “Our bond had never broken, not even in his final moments,” as quoted by Global News. She also objected to what she called a distorted media narrative.

The tribute makes the relationship harder to describe as simply severed or without affection. But a loving statement after a death does not demonstrate that the pair privately reconciled. Public coverage described them as estranged when Hulk died, and the cited accounts do not establish a private reconciliation before his death.

In April 2026, Brooke said she chose not to participate in Netflix’s Hulk Hogan: Real American.
