Decide whether you need an attraction pass
You can browse the town, street vendors, plaza square, and food-vendor area without paying admission. A pass is needed for listed attractions, including the haunted house, signature attractions, Boo Bash Pavilion, Harvest Games Zone, and filming-location train ride. Children age five and under are admitted free. Review the organizer’s ticket information for current options and terms.

The organizer promotes online purchase as less expensive than buying at the box office and as a way to secure access, but online tickets can sell out. A pass allows entry to available attractions; it does not guarantee admission to every attraction if waits or visitor volume prevent entry. Attraction and exhibit offerings may also change without notice.
Plan parking and your route through town
The event is held at 275 Strand St, St. Helens, OR 97051. For 2026, the organizer lists onsite parking at $30 per vehicle, with one parking pass per vehicle and no shuttle requirement. Advance parking passes are limited. The ticket page says additional parking may still be available at the official lot on arrival if online parking is sold out. Check the parking terms and checkout total before you go, since checkout may add fees.

St. Helens is the real town where Disney’s Halloweentown was filmed; the annual event began as a tribute to the movie. Pumpkin Plaza features Halloween décor, displays, performances, and photo opportunities. The organizer also lists a filming-location train ride and a self-guided tour of haunted places and movie locations among the event attractions. The museum and city walking-tour resources let you explore filming locations on foot beyond the festival area. The train ride is a ticketed event attraction, while walking routes are separate resources; check the linked maps for route details before setting out.
Swan House tour: reserve a time and follow the group
The 2026 attraction page lists a timed, small-group Swan House tour at a private residence on October 10–11 and October 17–18. Space is extremely limited, and visitors must arrive at their reserved time, stay with the group, and follow staff instructions. This is a scheduled tour, not general public access to the home.
