Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteYou can’t request or guarantee a Spotify presale code. For a Fans First email offer, Spotify selects some listeners—often an artist’s top fans and/or followers—and Premium isn’t required. To avoid missing an offer, enable Spotify News and Offers and check that your account email is correct. Spotify also runs Reserved by Spotify, a separate offer with Premium and other eligibility requirements.
How do I get a Spotify presale code?
There is no public application form or guaranteed way to obtain a Fans First code. Spotify sends offers to selected listeners; being a top fan or following the artist may be relevant, but Spotify does not promise an offer to everyone who listens or follows. Its support page says these email offers are open to anyone with a Spotify account, so Premium is not required. Spotify’s presale and merch email guidance explains the selection and notification basics.

- Follow the artist on Spotify if you want their updates and event discovery. Following may be a selection factor, but it does not qualify you automatically.
- Enable Spotify News and Offers. In your Spotify account notification settings, turn on the email option for Spotify News and Offers.
- Verify your account email address. The offer goes to the address associated with your Spotify account.
- Check that inbox when an offer is announced. If Spotify selects you, open the email and use its ticket-company link and instructions.
These steps help you receive an offer if selected; they do not guarantee selection or a ticket.
Fans First and Reserved by Spotify are different offers
A Spotify presale may refer to either an email-based Fans First offer or Reserved by Spotify, which appears through Spotify surfaces and has separate eligibility rules. They also differ in where you find the offer and who handles checkout.

What are the requirements for Reserved by Spotify?
Reserved is not just another name for a Fans First code. Spotify’s current Reserved by Spotify support page lists these eligibility conditions:
- You must have an eligible Spotify Premium subscription. Free trials, Premium Mini, and Premium Lite do not qualify under the current page.
- Your Spotify account must be at least one week old.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must live in an available market. Spotify currently lists the United States and Canada.
Meeting these requirements does not ensure that Spotify will select you for an offer. Eligibility and selection are separate.

Where to find a Reserved offer
Spotify says a Reserved offer may appear on Home, in Search, on an artist’s page, in the Live Events feed, or in Now Playing. Selected recipients may also be notified by email, push notification, or Your Updates. In its guide published June 18, 2026 and updated August 17, 2026, Spotify says selection can consider signals such as streams, saves, shares, and location, but it does not disclose every detail of its method. The guide recommends keeping live-event notifications on, updating the app, and setting your location in Live Events. See Spotify’s Reserved step-by-step guide.
What happens after you receive an offer?
For a Fans First email
Use the link in the email and follow the instructions for that ticket company. The seller handles purchase questions and issues involving its code, order, delivery, refund, or cancellation. Spotify says it does not handle ticket purchases for these offers. Check the seller’s terms for the sale’s date, ticket availability, seat choices, prices, and fees.

For Reserved by Spotify
Open the offer, choose an eligible date, and select up to two tickets. Checkout is through Ticketmaster. Spotify describes the purchase window as typically around a day, but the timing and inventory depend on the campaign. An offer does not guarantee a particular date, seat, or price. Spotify’s Reserved by Spotify terms set out the applicable seller terms and purchase conditions.
Why didn’t I get a Spotify presale email?
A missing message may mean Spotify did not select your account. Spotify does not publish a listening-hours threshold or a public score for becoming a top fan, and its Community guidance says it cannot guarantee that every fan receives an offer. Check that Spotify News and Offers is enabled and that your account email is current, then check the inbox associated with the account. If you were not selected, those settings cannot generate a code after the fact.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Where to get help with a code or tickets
For a Fans First code or order problem, contact the ticket company identified in the offer email; Spotify directs users to that seller for purchase support. For Reserved checkout, follow the Ticketmaster route shown in the offer. Spotify’s event listings can help you find concerts and ticket links on artist profiles and in Live Events, but discovering an event is not the same as qualifying for a presale. Spotify for Artists’ guide to concert listings and discovery describes those event surfaces.

Campaigns can also differ from one another. For example, Spotify and AEG announced a 2024 Sabrina Carpenter campaign with a Fans First Front Row code offer followed by a separate Spotify Fans First presale. That example does not establish that other artists will use the same stages. Spotify’s announcement of the Sabrina Carpenter campaign describes that specific offer.
