Public reporting described two private jets associated with companies linked to Taylor Swift before a Dassault Falcon 900 was transferred in January 2024. After that transfer, a Dassault Falcon 7X was reported to remain associated with Island Jet Inc. The available reports do not verify how many jets Swift owns today, as of October 8, 2026.
What the reports say about the aircraft count
The clearest answer is date-specific: reporting described two aircraft associated with companies linked to Swift before the Falcon 900 transfer, then one reported remaining aircraft after it. These reports do not establish a current personal or beneficial-ownership count.
Before the January 2024 transfer
In February 2024, The Washington Post reported that two jets were owned by Nashville-based companies and registered to be operated by Swift’s company, Firefly Entertainment, according to FAA documents. The aircraft identified in coverage were a Dassault Falcon 900 and a Dassault Falcon 7X. The Associated Press also described Swift as having more than one private jet, including a Falcon 900.
After the transfer
The Washington Post reported that FAA records marked the Falcon 900 as transferred to a real estate company. Sky News likewise reported the transfer and said the Falcon 7X remained associated with Island Jet Inc. at that time. This supports a historical report of one remaining associated aircraft—not proof that Swift personally owned exactly one jet after the transfer, or that the count remains one now.

Why “associated with” is more accurate than “owned by”
Aircraft registration and company records can show a registered owner or an association with a company. They do not, on their own, establish an individual’s current beneficial ownership, personal use, or control. The FAA provides aircraft registration information and related services, but a company connection in a record should not be treated as conclusive proof that Swift personally owns an aircraft.
Accordingly, the most defensible wording is that two jets were reported associated with companies linked to Swift before the January 2024 transfer, and one was reported to remain associated afterward. The cited reports do not settle whether she owns, controls, uses, or is associated with other aircraft today.

What the flight-plan coverage does—and does not—confirm
The Associated Press discussed a possible Tokyo-to-Las Vegas trip in the context of Swift’s travel. That itinerary was prospective in the article; it should not be described as proof that the trip took place. Reporting about flight tracking and privacy or safety arguments also does not independently verify the present number of aircraft she owns.
