Connor Cruise has kept a relatively low public profile: recent coverage offers occasional glimpses of his social life and appearances with his father, while reporting has linked him to Florida, fishing and golf. He has also been described as a DJ and actor, including a role in the 2012 Red Dawn reboot. That public record is limited; it does not establish his full routine, current work or private reasons for staying out of sustained celebrity coverage.
What does Connor Cruise do now?
The most recent substantial account in the sources reviewed here is a Miami Herald report published December 2, 2024. It described Connor as living in Florida and highlighted golf and fishing as interests. It also mentioned a rare golf-course selfie. This is a dated report, not independent confirmation of his exact current residence or a full account of his day-to-day life.

Fishing is one of the clearest specifics in the public record. The Miami Herald reported that Connor won the grand prize at the 2022 Sarasota Slam with a Warsaw grouper weighing more than 300 pounds, and that he donated the fish to local food banks. The catch was from the 2022 tournament; the account appeared in 2024.
What is known about his work?
Connor has been described as a DJ and actor. One notable acting credit is the 2012 reboot of Red Dawn. A 2019 People report republished by Yahoo, citing unnamed sources, described him as living in Clearwater and DJing at that time. That account should be read as reporting from 2019, not proof of his present location or occupation.

Later coverage has focused more on leisure interests and occasional public glimpses than on a current entertainment project. The available reporting does not establish that he has permanently left DJing or acting, nor does it document a major recent project. It is more accurate to say his present work is not clearly established in the public record than to declare that he has retired.
How does he keep a low public profile?
Reports describe Connor and his sister Isabella as having largely stayed out of the public spotlight since their parents’ 2001 divorce. In August 2024, E! reported that Connor shared rare photos with friends on Instagram Stories and noted occasional appearances with his father. A 2025 E! item surfaced describing a golf-related update and continued limited visibility, but it does not provide a comprehensive account of his life.

These accounts support a modest conclusion: Connor appears infrequently in sustained celebrity coverage, and the glimpses that do emerge are occasional social posts, reported hobbies and public appearances. They do not explain why he keeps a lower profile. His motivations, private routine and the full nature of his family relationships are not established by the reporting.

| Publicly reported | Not established by the cited coverage |
|---|---|
| Florida residence was reported by the Miami Herald in December 2024; Clearwater was reported by unnamed sources in a 2019 People story republished by Yahoo. | His precise current residence. |
| Fishing and golf were highlighted by the Miami Herald in 2024; the paper reported his 2022 Sarasota Slam win and donation. | A complete account of his routine or private life. |
| Earlier DJ and acting work, including Red Dawn (2012), has been reported. | Whether he continues either line of work or has a major current project. |
| Rare social posts and occasional appearances with his father have been noted in coverage. | His reasons for limited visibility or the full character of family relationships. |
Because the available information consists of intermittent reports rather than a detailed account from Connor, it cannot support confident claims about his motivations, relationships or everyday life. The grounded picture is narrower: he has had entertainment credits, has been publicly associated with fishing and golf, and appears only occasionally in the spotlight.
