The movie adapts a different arc, centered on the Roble Holy Kingdom. Jaldabaoth and demi-human forces invade the country, and its leader Remedios seeks help from Ainz’s state. Has the Overlord light novel ended?
Yen Press’s series listing runs through volume 16. Its synopsis for Overlord, Vol. 16: The Half-Elf Demigod Part II describes events involving a dark elf village, the Elf Kingdom, and an invasion by the Theocracy. That is continuing story material, not a publisher-described final epilogue. The official pages cited here do not establish that the light-novel series has reached a definitive ending.
