Perhaps the District Attorney recognized that because less than a week before trial, they made the offer to dismiss,”. ¿Qué significa un ACD en Nueva York?
Un ACD —“aplazamiento en contemplación de desestimación”— permite posponer el desenlace de un caso bajo condiciones y durante un periodo establecido. En los casos de violencia familiar, la ley de Nueva York contempla un periodo de un año: si el caso no se devuelve al calendario durante ese plazo, el instrumento acusatorio se considera desestimado. La ley también establece que conceder un ACD no constituye una condena ni una admisión de culpabilidad. Por eso, el acuerdo reportado no debe confundirse con una absolución tras un juicio, una admisión de culpabilidad o una desestimación final ya confirmada. ¿Qué se sabe de sus padres y de un caso anterior?
Las fuentes citadas no recogen una declaración pública directa de Norman Reedus ni de Helena Christensen sobre el arresto de 2025. Su silencio en esas informaciones no permite atribuirles una postura.
Algunos reportes también aluden a un arresto anterior de Reedus en 2021. Hindustan Times informó que en marzo de 2022 aceptó un acuerdo por un cargo menor de conducta desordenada.
