But the available reporting does not establish his total personal earnings, a verified current net worth, or a complete account of what he spends. The clearest financial details are reported property prices, which are not the same as personal income or profit.
How Adam Levine earns money
Maroon 5 and music
Levine’s career as Maroon 5’s front man is central to his public profile. A 2017 Architectural Digest profile recounts the band’s early career and later commercial prominence, including hit songs and touring. Those career milestones do not reveal Levine’s individual take-home earnings: band, song, label, and touring revenues can be affected by contracts, expenses, taxes, and how income is divided among collaborators.
Television work on The Voice
Levine also became a television personality through The Voice. He returned as a coach for season 27 in 2025 after leaving in 2019. In an interview published by E! News on January 30, 2025, and updated January 31, he said that time away let him reflect, pursue his own work, and be with his family. The interview does not disclose his season 27 compensation, so it cannot support a salary figure.
A CBS News profile also describes his public transition from a band member to a familiar television personality. Neither that profile nor the other cited career coverage provides a complete accounting of his personal earnings.

What the reported property prices show
Real-estate coverage gives some of the most concrete figures associated with Levine and Prinsloo, but each price needs to be read according to its status. A purchase price, an asking price, an accepted offer, and a completed sale are not interchangeable—and none automatically equals an individual’s net proceeds.
| Date reported | Property event | Reported amount | What the figure means |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2022 purchase, reported in 2025 | Montecito estate bought by Levine and Prinsloo | $52 million | Purchase price reported by Realtor.com in 2025. |
| 2025 | Montecito estate listed | $65 million | Asking price reported by Realtor.com; not a sale price. |
| 2025 | Offer accepted for Montecito estate | $60 million | Offer amount reported by Realtor.com; the report establishes an accepted offer, not that the sale closed. |
| 2022 | Pacific Palisades estate sold | $51 million | Sale price reported by the Los Angeles Times on May 9, 2022; not evidence of Levine’s net proceeds. |
| 2016 | SoHo loft listing | $5.5 million | The Washington Post reported on the loft; a listing amount does not establish a completed sale or net proceeds. |
The Montecito difference is not verified profit
Subtracting the reported $52 million purchase price from the $60 million accepted offer gives an $8 million gross difference. Realtor.com described that difference as a profit, but the arithmetic alone does not establish net profit: the cited report does not account for renovation and carrying costs, financing, taxes, real-estate fees, or the couple’s ownership allocations. Nor does an accepted offer prove that the sale closed.

What’s publicly known about his spending
Public home profiles offer a glimpse of Levine’s design interests, not a full spending ledger. In a 2017 Architectural Digest profile of his Hollywood Hills home, he described the creative process this way: “Furnishing a home is no different than going into the studio and making music.” The statement connects home design with his work as a musician; it does not document a total budget or prove how much he spends across his life.
The reported Pacific Palisades and SoHo property activity, alongside the Montecito purchase and reported offer, shows high-value real-estate dealings over time. These reports do not amount to a complete inventory of assets or private expenditures.
