Is Wiz Khalifa worth $70 million?
There is no verified public balance sheet establishing Wiz Khalifa’s net worth at $70 million. Sporting News noted that estimates from different sites ranged from about $55 million to closer to $70 million, and cautioned readers about treating the higher figure as certain. These are estimates, not values confirmed by financial records. The exact current figure is unknown.

Net worth and annual earnings are also different measures. Net worth is an estimate of assets minus liabilities at a point in time; earnings refer to money brought in over a period. The reported $11 million and $28 million figures below are historical earnings estimates. They cannot be added together to calculate a fortune: the available reporting does not establish taxes, expenses, debts, ownership shares, or the value of his assets and businesses.
How Wiz Khalifa has earned money
Touring and live performances
Forbes estimated that Khalifa earned $11 million in the year covered by its August 2011 profile, with much of that income attributed to touring and merchandise. The profile counted 133 shows between May 2010 and May 2011. Those numbers describe a particular early-career period, not his present-day annual earnings.

In the same profile, AEG chief Randy Phillips described Khalifa as a potential rising star in the live-music business: “We identify him at our company as one of the next potential superstars in the genre and as someone who will develop into a major hard ticket act.” The quote reflects the outlook at the time, rather than a measure of his current touring income.
Merchandise
Forbes’ 2011 account described tour shirts, branded rolling papers and a limited-edition 420 kit, and reported strong merchandise sales at shows and through Hot Topic. The examples show how Khalifa’s public image and fan demand supported merchandise alongside live performances at that time. They do not establish current sales or profit.

Khalifa Kush and the Weed Farm app
Forbes reported that Khalifa earned $28 million in 2017 in connection with Khalifa Kush and the Weed Farm mobile app. The article also said the app had reached four million downloads since its release that April. These are figures reported for 2017; they do not disclose current revenue, profit, Khalifa’s ownership share, or the brand’s valuation.
The business has also pursued expansion beyond the United States. In a 2024 Forbes interview, Khalifa Kush said it planned to enter the German market, with Berlin-based Sanity Group as its distribution partner. That report documents an expansion plan, not proof of current product availability in Germany or any other location. Cannabis rules and availability vary by jurisdiction.
Khalifa has described the overlap between his identity and his business in personal terms: “At the end of the day, everything I do business-wise is part of my real life anyway.” Forbes quoted him saying this in 2017.
Music, recordings and label activity
Khalifa’s music career is the foundation for his audience and business opportunities. The Associated Press reported that the 2010 mixtape Kush + Orange Juice helped define his early career, while “See You Again,” his hit with Charlie Puth, became a diamond-selling record. These milestones demonstrate the reach of his music, but the available sources do not quantify current royalties or the value of his catalog.
Forbes also described Khalifa and longtime manager Will Dzombak as leading Taylor Gang Entertainment, whose roster at the time included Juicy J and Ty Dolla $ign. That reporting establishes a label and artist-business structure in that period; it does not show the label’s current status or how much personal income Khalifa earns from it.

The specific personal-spending claim in the available reporting is historical and comes from Khalifa himself: Forbes said in 2011 that he had once claimed to spend more than $10,000 a month on cannabis. This is an attributed claim, not independently verified spending data, and it should not be read as a description of his habits today.
