Access depends on the title, platform, edition and date, so check the game’s current listing before deciding whether to buy it or play it through a subscription. An Xbox Wire announcement dated November 17, 2025 said selected nominees—including Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, DOOM: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight and Hollow Knight: Silksong—were playable through Xbox Game Pass at that time. That announcement does not establish that every nominee was included or that those titles remain in the service’s current catalog. Source: Xbox Wire, November 17, 2025.
