The available reports do not establish which one the headline’s description “well-known fantasy actor” refers to, so there is no reliable basis for naming a specific performer.
Who are the four reported additions?
An IMDb news aggregation page carrying an item attributed to Deadline Film + TV reported on November 4, 2025, that Cullen, Jun, Lyes and McKidd had joined the film. Filmstarts independently listed the same four additions the next day. These are reported casting additions; the sources available here do not include a directly accessible studio announcement.
- Siobhán Cullen
- Jun Jong-seo
- Nassim Lyes
- Kevin McKidd
IMDb’s news aggregation page attributes its item to Deadline, while Filmstarts’ November 5, 2025, report also names the four performers.
Who is the “well-known fantasy actor”?
The available casting reports do not reliably connect that description to any one of the four actors. They do not provide a complete, authoritative list of roles for the new cast members, and the headline alone is not enough to identify whom it means. Treat the identity as unconfirmed rather than guessing.

How the new cast fits into the film
The reports describe the project as a remake of the 1986 Highlander. Cavill is the lead named in the coverage, alongside an established ensemble that includes Russell Crowe, Marisa Abela, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Jeremy Irons and Djimon Hounsou. Filmstarts also mentions Max Zhang and Drew McIntyre. The casting reports do not establish a complete role list for the four reported additions, so character assignments should not be inferred.
What is known about production?
Variety’s January 30, 2026, first-look report said filming had started and identified Chad Stahelski as director. That is a dated production update, not confirmation of the film’s present status or release date. See Variety’s first-look coverage for that update.
