Heart’s 2024 Royal Flush Tour paired the band with Cheap Trick as special guest on many dates, but the billing varied by event. Three stadium shows also featured Def Leppard and Journey, while some dates were festivals, billed “An Evening With,” or initially listed a special guest as to be announced. The announced dates—including later tour extensions—have all passed as of October 8, 2026.
What the Royal Flush Tour announcement said
On January 29, 2024, Detroit promoter 313 Presents announced that Heart would return to the road with the Royal Flush Tour after a five-year hiatus. The schedule covered North America and Europe, with Cheap Trick billed as a special guest on many dates. The announcement listed the first North American show for April 20, 2024, in Greenville, South Carolina, and European dates from June 20 through July 12, 2024. 313 Presents’ announcement is the source for the original itinerary and billing.

The pairing was not uniform across every event. Some dates were labeled “An Evening With,” some were festivals or stadium shows, and the San Antonio and Red Rocks dates initially showed the special guest as to be announced. The Cleveland, Toronto, and Boston stadium dates paired Heart with Def Leppard and Journey. The Associated Press likewise described Cheap Trick opening for many tour stops and identified the three stadium dates with Def Leppard and Journey. AP’s coverage provides that independent account.
How the tour continued
Heart later extended the tour. An announcement on September 16, 2025, listed a 13-date North American leg running from February 15, 2026, in Duluth, Georgia, to March 15, 2026, in Fishers, Indiana. Lucinda Williams was named for select dates, and some shows were billed “An Evening With HEART.” Earlier 2025 listings named Cheap Trick for selected dates, with other support also appearing on some shows. Heart’s tour announcement and ABC Audio’s same-day report describe the extension.

What the artists and promoter said
Ann Wilson, whom 313 Presents identified as Heart’s lead vocalist, said of the 2024 return: “We’re excited and all geared up to hit the road in 2024 to perform for our devoted fans.” The same announcement credited Heart with more than 35 million albums sold worldwide and 20 Top 40 singles, and Cheap Trick with 20 million albums sold worldwide. Those figures are claims reported by the promoter, not independently verified sales totals.

AP quoted Nancy Wilson describing the challenge of choosing songs for the shows: “I like to say we have really good problems because the problem we have is to choose between a bunch of different, really cool songs that people love already.” That comment speaks to the band’s song choices; the reviewed announcements do not provide a complete setlist for every concert.
Why the billing differed by date
“Heart and Cheap Trick Royal Flush Tour dates” is a useful way to describe the headline pairing, but it should not be read as a promise that Cheap Trick appeared at every event. The official 2024 schedule included different formats and guest arrangements:
Rank #3
- Many tour stops: Cheap Trick was listed as special guest.
- Three stadium shows: Heart shared the bill with Def Leppard and Journey in Cleveland, Toronto, and Boston.
- Some dates: The event was marked “An Evening With,” presented as a festival or stadium date, or—at the time of the original listing—had a special guest still to be announced.
The schedule therefore needs to be read date by date. A tour-wide headline pairing is accurate for many dates, not a guarantee of identical support or event format throughout the run.

313 Presents identified Dreamboat Annie as Heart’s debut album. The promoter’s 2024 announcement also included Ann Wilson’s explanation of the band’s enthusiasm for returning to the road. These background details help situate the tour, but the reviewed material does not establish a particular current album edition or a complete concert-by-concert setlist.
