Simon Cowell has said that he previously went too far with Botox and facial filler. In 2022, he said he had no filler in his face at that time; in 2023, he denied having a facelift while acknowledging some Botox and other treatments. Those comments explain part of the public discussion about his appearance, but they do not establish a complete treatment history or the cause of every visible change.
What Simon Cowell has said about his appearance
Cowell’s own comments are the clearest available explanation. In 2022, he acknowledged past Botox and filler use and said he felt he had gone too far. Vanity Fair quoted him as saying, “There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far,” and, “There is no filler in my face at all now.” The outlet attributed those remarks to an interview with The Sun. The Independent also reported his 2022 comments, likewise attributing them to The Sun. His statement about having no filler was specific to that time; it should not be read as confirmation of his treatment status today. The Independent, April 12, 2022
What he said about facelift rumors
In 2023, Cowell denied having a facelift while acknowledging some Botox and other treatments. Vanity Fair Italia reported his remarks in an interview with The Mirror: “Non ho fatto un lifting. Ho solo fatto un po’ di Botox e altro, ma niente di drastico.” Translated from the Italian report, he said: “I haven’t had a facelift. I’ve just had a bit of Botox and other things, but nothing drastic.” This English wording is a translation of the reported quotation, not an English-language verbatim quote. What those comments do—and don’t—establish
