Robyn Dixon said she was fired from The Real Housewives of Potomac because Bravo did not invite her back for Season 9. She announced the decision on April 15, 2024, after eight seasons on the show. The reporting does not establish a separate, specific reason from Bravo for the casting decision. Dixon later returned for Season 11 as a friend of the cast, so her departure was not permanent.
Why did Robyn Dixon leave RHOP?
Dixon said the network did not invite her back for Season 9. In an announcement on her and Gizelle Bryant’s Reasonably Shady podcast, she put it plainly: “The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words.” TV Insider reported the quote on April 15, 2024. TV Insider’s report of Dixon’s announcement

Season 8 provides context, but not a confirmed cause. Bravo described questions about Dixon’s marriage and tensions within the cast during that season. Those storylines do not prove that either issue led to her departure, and fan theories should not be presented as the network’s explanation.
Is Robyn Dixon back on RHOP?
Yes. Bravo reported on October 4, 2026, that Dixon returned for Season 11 as a friend of the cast after a two-year hiatus. She said she had initially been hesitant to return after a challenging Season 8 and had enjoyed being a private citizen during her time away.
