What H.E.R.’s December 2022 Instagram post showed
H.E.R., the stage name of Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson, posted the photos on December 18, 2022. MadameNoire described snapshots and a clip, with curls falling just above her shoulders in a face-framing shape with curly bangs. Allure described the post as a carousel and noted a marigold-yellow two-piece outfit.
Allure reported the caption as “In my purest form,” with yellow-heart and palm-tree emojis; MadameNoire transcribed it as “In my purest form.. 🌴💛.” The outlets’ punctuation differs slightly, but both report the same short caption and emojis. MadameNoire and Allure published their descriptions on December 20 and 19, 2022, respectively.
How the look differed from styles seen in other coverage
Allure contrasted the relaxed natural-curl presentation with some of the long, wavy styles or braids in which H.E.R. is commonly seen. That is a description of the contrast in the outlet’s coverage, not a claim that she always wears any one hairstyle.

MadameNoire reported that H.E.R. shared routine details after L’Oréal Paris named her a global ambassador. The article named Elvive Dream Lengths Curls Micellar Shampoo and Dreamy Curls Cream leave-in conditioner as products she uses. It also reproduced her Instagram statement: “Like so many women, @LorealParis is a brand I’ve known since I was a young girl,” and that she valued not only its products, “which I really do use,” but also its “Because I’m Worth It” mantra. This was a statement reproduced by MadameNoire, not a direct interview.
The routine report does not establish that she used either product for the December 2022 post or that the products alone produced the pictured curl pattern. The leave-in conditioner named in that report is L’Oréal Elvive Dream Lengths Curls Dreamy Curls Cream.

Atlanta Black Star reported that the post had received more than 600,000 likes when its article was published on December 20, 2022. That is a dated figure reported by a secondary outlet, not a current like count. Atlanta Black Star also described her natural curls and yellow two-piece outfit.
