For Gru’s dry villain humor and Agnes’s unfiltered enthusiasm, the first Despicable Me offers a few instantly recognizable lines. This selection focuses on the 2010 film; it is not a ranked or exhaustive list of quotes from the whole franchise.
Gru quotes: a villain with a light-bulb moment
Universal Pictures describes the first Despicable Me as a story about Gru trying to steal the moon while competing to become the world’s greatest villain. That outsized scheme gives his brief, deadpan reactions their comic contrast. Universal Pictures At Home’s film page provides the premise.
“Light bulb…”
Speaker: Gru. Film: Despicable Me (2010). The quote compilation attributes this short expression to Gru when he gets an idea. Its appeal is the compact pause before a plan takes shape. Quote attribution and scene description.
Agnes quotes: earnest excitement
“It’s so fluffy!”
Speaker: Agnes. Film: Despicable Me (2010). Agnes says it in the fluffy-unicorn scene. The line’s immediate enthusiasm makes it a natural pick for fans looking for the film’s sweetest comic moment. The attribution comes from a secondary quote compilation, with scene context also reflected in a transcript result. Quote source.

These short examples are supported by quote references centered on the 2010 film.
