Disney has not announced a release date for The Greatest Showman 2 in the official sources reviewed through October 8, 2026. The confirmed news is a stage adaptation of the original film, scheduled to reach Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London’s West End in spring 2027—not a sequel film.
Is there going to be a The Greatest Showman 2 film?
No film sequel release date has been announced in the official Disney sources reviewed through October 8, 2026. That does not establish whether private discussions or unannounced development exist; it means there is no publicly confirmed date to report. Disney’s recent announcement concerns a stage adaptation, not a second film. It does not confirm the return of Hugh Jackman or any other cast member from the movie.
What is the confirmed stage-show update?
After a Bristol run earlier in 2026, Disney says the stage adaptation will premiere at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London’s West End in spring 2027. Disney describes it as a new stage adaptation based on the 2017 film. The official UK show page currently lists London as the announced venue and says no other venue has been announced.
Spring 2027 is a season, not a confirmed opening night. As of October 8, 2026, the official page said the full schedule would be released soon and ticket information later in autumn; it did not give a specific first performance date, ticket on-sale date or price. Further London casting was also pending.

The show uses songs from the film and adds new songs by Pasek and Paul. Disney’s 2025 production announcement specifically listed “The Greatest Show,” “A Million Dreams,” “Come Alive,” “Rewrite the Stars,” “Never Enough” and “This Is Me,” alongside new material. The announcements do not provide a complete running order.

Where to check for London tickets and show details
For updates on the schedule, ticket release and additional cast announcements, use the official UK show page.
