The post featured a pink funfetti cake with the message “You did it, Nahla!!”
What did Halle Berry say about Nahla’s acceptance?
WBLS reported that Berry’s Instagram Story included the message: “Congratulations to my sweet Angel Nahla for her early college acceptance!” The report described a pink funfetti cake decorated with “You did it, Nahla!!” WBLS published its account on Oct. 15, 2025, and dated the Story to Oct. 13.
What college did Nahla get accepted to?
The college was not named in the reports. WBLS said Berry did not disclose the institution, and the coverage does not give admissions terms or explain whether “early” refers to a formal early-admission program. The acceptance announcement therefore does not establish which school Nahla plans to attend.
What had Berry said about Nahla’s college plans?
In June 2025, Berry said Nahla was attending a summer program at the college she hoped to attend the following year. Speaking on Today with Jenna & Friends, she said: “She’s 17. She’s going to a college summer program, the college that she’s hoping to go to next year. She’s going away this year to the college summer program.” Parade reported those comments on June 5, 2025. The summer program was not described as an admission offer.

Berry also said she was excited to see her daughter begin shaping her own life: “I’m not one of these moms that feels like, ‘Oh, she’s leaving.’ Yes, will I worry? Of course, but am I excited for her to start her life and figure out who she’s gonna be? Absolutely. I’m dying to see who she’s gonna be and what she’s gonna do and what she’ll discover.”
What is known about Nahla’s current college status?
The reports establish that Berry celebrated an acceptance in October 2025, but they do not identify the school or say whether Nahla ultimately enrolled. Her age and plans described in the June 2025 interview are time-specific; the coverage does not establish her current college status.
