Karol G was the featured icon for Fortnite Festival Season 5, a 2024 season that ran from August 16 to November 2. Its companion experience, Karol G MSB Fortnite, was a separate, limited-time playable concert available August 23–26, 2024. The season and concert have ended.
Why was Karol G named Fortnite Festival Season 5’s icon?
Epic Games announced Karol G as the Season 5 icon on August 15, 2024. The company described her as a five-time Latin GRAMMY winner and said the season would bring her Latin sounds to Fortnite. Epic’s wording supports “Latin GRAMMY winner”; it does not establish a specific Grammy category or year.
Season 5 began August 16, 2024 with v31.00 and ended November 2, 2024 at 12 AM ET, according to Epic Games’ announcement.
What was the Karol G Fortnite concert?
Karol G MSB Fortnite was a five-part playable concert experience created by Magnopus, featuring a setlist of Karol G songs. It was accessible through Fortnite’s Discover screen, and players could attend in parties of up to four. The concert was available from August 23, 2024 at 3 PM ET through August 26, 2024 at 12 PM ET; that short access window was distinct from the longer Festival season.

It immediately unlocked the Bichota Season Karol G Outfit and included rewards such as the Bichota Mic, Bichota 6-String Guitar and “Qlona” Jam Track.
