In a reply to criticism of a golf-bag video, she also joked that it gave her a chance to show off her figure again, according to a PEOPLE report published by Yahoo Entertainment.
What happened in the golf-bag video exchange?
The report says Spiranac posted the video to X on April 1, 2025. It showed her packing a golf bag before heading to the course. One user criticized the clip’s framing with the comment, “Real classy Paige.”
Spiranac replied, “I’m proud of my body and how hard I’ve been working to achieve my fitness goals.” After another commenter defended her, she added, “It was a great opportunity to show off my booty again.” These posts and quotations are reported by PEOPLE through Yahoo Entertainment; the original X post was not independently retrieved for this account.
Why did Spiranac say she would not apologize?
Her reported answer centered on being proud of her body and the effort behind her fitness goals—not on apologizing for the video. Her second reply was playful and self-aware: she acknowledged the attention her appearance drew rather than accepting the critic’s judgment of the clip.

How does this fit her earlier comments about golf and clothing?
The PEOPLE report also recalls remarks Spiranac made in a February interview with the Daily Mail: “So when I started posting in tank tops and leggings, it blew people’s minds in golf.” The comment provides context for why images of her clothing and appearance can become part of the conversation around her golf-related social-media posts.
