Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →The 2025 Grammy results were not a three-way shutout: Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism and Megan Thee Stallion’s Megan received no nominations, while Ariana Grande earned three. Calling Grande a “snub” therefore requires naming a specific category she missed, rather than suggesting she was excluded from the nominations altogether.
What were the 2025 Grammy snubs?
The 67th Grammy Awards nominations produced two clear album omissions among these artists. The Associated Press’s November 2024 review of snubs and surprises reported that Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism and Megan Thee Stallion’s Megan were absent from the nominations. Ariana Grande, by contrast, appeared on the nominee list three times.
| Artist | Album or recording | Documented outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Dua Lipa | Radical Optimism | No Grammy nominations, according to the Associated Press’s November 8, 2024 report, updated November 12. |
| Megan Thee Stallion | Megan | No Grammy nominations, according to the Associated Press’s November 8, 2024 report, updated November 12. |
| Ariana Grande | eternal sunshine; “the boy is mine”; “yes, and?” | Three nominations on the Recording Academy’s final nominee list. |
“Snub” is a judgment about an omission, not a Grammy category or an official finding. The confirmed outcomes are the nomination list and the two albums’ absence from it; whether those omissions were surprising or deserved is a matter of interpretation.
Why Ariana Grande was not shut out
The Recording Academy’s final list named Grande in three categories:

Those nominations do not settle whether a listener considers her absent from a particular category where they expected her to appear. But a claim that Grande received no 2025 Grammy nominations would be incorrect. Any narrower claim about her being snubbed should specify the category and the recording at issue.
Which releases were eligible?
The 67th Grammy Awards covered recordings released during the eligibility period of September 16, 2023, through August 30, 2024—not everything an artist released across the whole 2024–25 period. The Recording Academy announced the nominees on November 8, 2024; the ceremony took place on February 2, 2025.

The Academy described the awards as peer-voted by music makers across creative disciplines. Its November 2024 announcement cited 13,000 voting members at that time; that is a contemporaneous figure, not a current membership count. Knowing how the process works does not reveal why voters did or did not nominate a particular recording.

The outcomes support a straightforward distinction: the AP reported no nominations for Lipa’s and Megan Thee Stallion’s albums, while Grande received three nominations and could only be described as snubbed in relation to a specific omitted category. The available evidence does not establish individual voters’ reasons, a ranking of which omission was most surprising, or an objective measure of which artist was most deserving.
