The 2021 G.I. Joe and Fortnite crossover paired a digital Snake Eyes outfit with a physical collectible: Hasbro’s Fortnite x G.I. Joe Collab Snake Eyes: Zero Point Edition action figure. The outfit brought the masked ninja into Fortnite with a matching katana pickaxe and back bling; Hasbro says the figure’s premium decoration was inspired by Snake Eyes’s in-game appearance. The figure is a separate product, not a stated way to unlock the outfit.
What did the Fortnite Snake Eyes skin include?
Epic announced Snake Eyes for Fortnite on January 30, 2021. Its announcement described the Arashikage Clan set as including the outfit, a pickaxe, and back bling. Hasbro’s February 1, 2021 launch announcement added that the katana appeared as both the pickaxe and the back bling, and listed the outfit at 1,800 V-Bucks when it launched in the Item Shop on January 30 at 7 p.m. EST. These are historical launch details, not confirmation of today’s shop rotation or price.
Epic’s January 30, 2021 announcement said, “El conjunto Clan Arashikage ya está disponible en la tienda de objetos” (“The Arashikage Clan set is now available in the Item Shop”). Hasbro’s February 1, 2021 release gives the launch time and V-Bucks price.
Is there a G.I. Joe Snake Eyes figure based on the Fortnite skin?
Yes. The matching collectible is the Fortnite x G.I. Joe Collab Snake Eyes: Zero Point Edition, Hasbro item F5366. Hasbro describes its premium decoration as inspired by the character’s in-game appearance, making the connection explicit: the figure is a Fortnite-themed take on Snake Eyes, rather than simply another standard G.I. Joe release.
