What Season 2 is about
Season 1 left Luke, Emma, and the people around them exposed: both Luke’s literal family and his CIA work team had their covers blown. Season 2 opens with the group hiding together. Their cramped circumstances bring family and team tensions into the open, while problems beyond the safe house draw them into another globe-trotting mission.
The show’s premise continues to mix awkward family dynamics with high-stakes CIA work. Luke and Emma are not simply a father and daughter caught up in espionage: both are operatives, and their personal relationship is entangled with the demands of the job. The official Netflix series page describes that family-and-mission setup.

Who returns and who is new
The Brunners and Greta
Schwarzenegger returns as Luke Brunner, a veteran CIA operative and executive producer, and Barbaro returns as Emma, his daughter and fellow operative. Moss joins as Greta Nelso, Luke’s former flame and a former East German spy. Her arrival puts a past relationship into a story already crowded with family ties and professional loyalties.
The wider team
Guy Burnet joins as Theodore “Theo” Chips, a former MI6 agent turned mercenary for Greta. Netflix’s cast guide says Theo is first brought into the team’s fold as a captive, making his loyalties a source of tension.

The returning ensemble includes Travis Van Winkle as Aldon, Fortune Feimster as Roo, Milan Carter as Barry, Scott Thompson as Dr. Pfeffer, Fabiana Udenio as Tally, Andy Buckley as Donnie, Jay Baruchel as Carter, Adam Pally as the Great Dane, Tom Arnold as Norm, Aparna Brielle as Tina, and Barbara Eve Harris as Dot. Netflix’s cast and season guide lists the returning and new players.
Who made the season
Nick Santora remains the series creator and showrunner, as well as an executive producer. Schwarzenegger is also an executive producer. Netflix’s credits additionally name Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Phil Abraham, Amy Pocha, Seth Cohen, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell as executive producers. Netflix’s Media Center credits list the production team.

A larger-than-life production detail
Netflix Tudum reported that production was underway by May 2024 and marked the start of Season 2 by building a Luke Brunner action figure measuring 265.7 inches (22.14 feet). Tudum described it as the world’s biggest action figure and a Guinness World Record. This was a production-event build, not evidence of a retail collectible. Netflix Tudum’s report gives the measurement and attribution.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What the preview points to
The clearest change in the Season 2 setup is the pressure of putting Luke’s family and his CIA team in the same hiding place, then adding Greta and Theo to the mix. The returning father-daughter spy partnership remains central, while Moss’s character brings a personal connection to Luke and a mercenary with uncertain loyalties joins the larger group. Schwarzenegger called the season “bigger” and “better” in a promotional comment to Netflix Tudum; that is his description, not an independent assessment of the episodes.
